Even before the anime was released, there was a lot of hype around it, thanks to the vogue of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s ongoing manga series that has sold over 20 million copies worldwide as of November 2022. Denji is the eccentric protagonist of the Chainsaw Man who has a tough childhood and is forced to pay the debt incurred by his father following his death. The stoic young man is three years Denji’s senior according to Makima. However, his age is never confirmed in the manga or the anime so far. Himeno is an experienced Public Devil Hunter who has been in the business for several years now and has lost quite a few close allies so far. Kobeni comes from an abusive family which forced her to choose between prostitution and becoming a Public Hunter, so that she can bring some money home. She has a brother, whose college tuition she helps pay, while she also has several sisters. As far as her age is concerned, she has herself confirmed that she is twenty years old.

Much like Kobeni, Arai also confirms during the welcome party that he is twenty-two years old.
How Old is Makima?
Makima is one of the most mysterious characters in Chainsaw Man as nothing is ever revealed about her past, her family, or her powers. This remains true when it comes to her age which is never mentioned in the manga or the anime. But based purely on her physical appearance, it appears that she is most-likely in her mid-twenties.
